This album was created as a Christmas present to the Weigel family. Lee, Jill, Michael, and Cindy. The family got to request xenharmonic versions of Christmas songs as a present for the holiday. I have so much love for you four, and you've even inspired some bonus tracks! Hope you enjoy the album. My wonderful girlfriend Amy did all of the graphic design for the album cover/liner notes! I think it captures the spirit of the album perfectly.

Four different tuning systems are used on this album:
7-EDO: Track 12
15-EDO: Tracks 3, 6, 10, 11, & 13
19-EDO: Tracks 1, 5, & 8
21-EDO: Tracks 2, 4, 7, & 9

A variety of modes and approaches are used, so the pieces can be said to be anywhere from simply modal to freely chromatic. In 15-EDO, a Blackwood[10] mentality was often used, and in 21-EDO, a Whitewood[14] mentality was often used. Blackwood is dark chocolate, and Whitewood is white chocolate - hence, our "xenharmonic chocolate!"
